“Every 15 Minutes” is a program sponsored by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to raise awareness of the consequences of drunk driving. It is a two-day program focusing on high school juniors and seniors, which challenges them to think about drinking, driving, personal safety, the responsibility of making mature decisions and the impact their decisions have on family, friends, their community, and many others.

On the first day, the students are called out of class to watch a live re-enactment of a fatal car crash (performed by their fellow students) so they can witness the process first-responders go through.
On the second day, the students gather to watch a short film starring their fellow classmates. The film generally goes through everything that happened before, during, and after the car crash they watched the day before.

Every 15 Minutes is designed to have an emotional impact and alter the thinking of both teenagers and parents. For more information, go to https://www.chp.ca.gov/programs-servi…
